Come As You Are Tutorial

Come As You Are up a whole step

Lyrics & Chords

	COME AS YOU ARE
(whole guitar tuned down a whole step to DGCFAd)

	(4) INTRO BAND

	(16) VERSE 1
Come as you are, as you were, as I want you to be.
As a friend, as a friend, as an old Enemy.
Take your time, hurry up, choice is yours, don't be late.
Take a rest, as a friend, as an old memory.

	(8) CHORUS 1
	| F#5 / / / | A5 / / / | (x4)
Memory ah, Memory ah, Memory ah.

	(8) VERSE 2
Come doused in Mud, soaked in Bleach, as I want you to be.
As a trend, as a friend, as an old Memory ahhh.

	(8) CHORUS 2
Memory ahh, Memory ahh, Memory ahh.

	(8) BRIDGE 1
	| B5 / / / | D5 / / / | (x4)
	And I swear that I
	don't have a gun

TAB

Though everything below is written in a different tuning than normal,
We are going to play in standard tuning: EADGBe

MAIN RIFF (repeating)
D|----------|---------------------------------------|
A|----------|---------------------------------------|
F|----------|---------------------------------------|
C|----------|---------------------------------------|
G|----------|--------0---0---------2--------2-------|
D|---(0)0-1-|---2------2---2-2-1-0---0-0------0-1---|

CHORUS
F# power chord A power chord
D|---------0--------|-------------------|
A|---------0--------|-------------------|
F|------------------|-2-2-2-2-----2--2--|
C|--4---4----4-4-4--|-2-2-2-2-----2--2--|
G|--4---4----4-4-4--|-0-0-0-0-----0--0--|
D|--2---2----2-2-2--|-------------------|
    1 2 3 + 4 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 +

BRIDGE -- (basical move down a string set and it's like the Chorus)
B power chord D power chord
D|--------------------------------------|
A|-------------------3-3-3-3----3-3-----|
F|--4---4--~-4-4-4---2-2-2-2----2-2-----|
C|--4---4--~-4-4-4---0-0-0-0----0-0-----|
G|--2---2--~-2-2-2---0-0-0-0----0-0-----|
D|--------------------------------------|

SOLO (repeating)
D|-------------------------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------|
F|-----9--11---------9--11---------9--11-11b-11-9--------|
C|-11---------11-11---------11-11-----------------11-----|
G|-------------------------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------------------------|

in the solo, the 11b means to bend that note a whole step
(probably bending up to the A string)
the 11s on the D string are to be played as double 11s, or two
11s back to back like the middle two examples...meaning that the
last 11 and the initial 11 are also to be played as back to back
